Oprah’s Favorite Things 2023 list and a new ’fit to copy all in the same week — can it get any better than this?

In a new episode of Own Spotlight that dropped on October 28, Winfrey, 69, sat down for a chat with actress Kerry Washington. Dressing in a monochromatic look — a styling hack the media mogul also employed back in September — Oprah paired a cropped yellow sweater with high-waisted amber pants. Her wedge boots also teamed up with the rest of her outfit, along with her gold drop earrings.

Even with the shorter length, the sweater didn’t show any skin, but it also wasn’t blatantly baggy like some sweater styles Blake Lively and Jennifer Lopez have recently worn. Another perk to cropped sweaters? The flattering fit. Since these tops are more tapered than oversized ones, they subtly show off your shape and accentuate your waistline.
