Ottawa weather forecast cools down, especially at night

It looks like the days of temperatures in the 20s could be dwindling, if not completely behind us.

Friday's forecast calls for cloudy skies with a chance of rain early in the morning, turning into a mix of sun and cloud with a high of 19 C.

A north wind at 20 kilometres per hour should also blow in the morning and there's a moderate UV index of 5 expected.

Friday night will feature clear skies with that same north wind lightening a bit and a low of just 3 C. When the sun goes down, you bundle up now.

The weekend looks pretty nice with mainly sunny skies on Saturday, a northwest wind at 20 km/h in the afternoon and a high of 17 C. The overnight low is set to reach 4 C.

Sunday should be sunny with a high of 15 C and the low hits 3 C overnight Sunday.

Next week's forecast currently has highs bouncing back and forth between 18 C and 19 C through the week.
