A pedestrian is dead after a collision in Brampton Thursday morning, Peel police said.
Police said officers were called to a crash near Mississauga Road and Williams Parkway around 7 a.m.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, died after they were struck by a vehicle, police said. Initially, officers did not believe the collision would be fatal.
The driver remained on scene.

A British man who wreaked havoc on a United Airlines flight, forcing the flight crew to divert their landing location, must pay over $20,000 to the airline, prosecutors announced.
