Prep football: 50 high school players who had big games last week in the Sacramento area

Here’s a run down of 50 Sacramento-area football players who had big games last week.

Runners, receivers, passers, pass rushers and stoppers from small schools to large, the names roll on in our weekly roll call of achievers.

Dylan Alexander, Ponderosa: Rushed for 87 yards and three touchdowns in a 54-23 win over Johnson.

Luke Alexander, Grant: Passed for 225 yards and two touchdowns in a 48-0 win over Burbank.

Jagger Beck, Sutter: Passed for two touchdowns and ran for one in a 26-0 win over Marysville.

Tariq Booth, Laguna Creek: Rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns in a 41-35 loss to Monterey Trail.

Joseph Brown, Liberty Ranch: Broke up three passes and forced a fumble in a 40-28 win over Nevada Union

Dylan Burke, Rodriguez: Passed for 368 yards and five touchdowns in a 39-6 win over Rosemont.

Mekhi Dubose-Cain, Antelope: Had 13 tackles, four for loss, in a 21-14 loss to Roseville.

Josiah Campbell, Christian Brothers: Made 15 tackles, three for loss, in a 45-29 win over Del Campo.

Brannon Cathey, Liberty Ranch: Rushed for 161 yards and two scores and had five tackles against Nevada Union.

Marco Carrillo, Cordova: Had 190 yards of total offense, scored two touchdowns, had eight tackles and broke up three passes in a 62-46 loss to Rio Vista.

Joseph Cattolico, Granite Bay: Caught three passes for 62 yards and a touchdown in a 34-13 win over Vacaville.

Davon Chism, Monterey Trail: Had a sack and returned an interception 76 yards for a touchdown against Laguna Creek.

Cassidy Cole, Antelope: Had two interceptions against Roseville.

Ricky Cole, Inderkum: Passed for 316 yards and six touchdowns and ran for one in a 62-0 win over Yuba City.

Timothy Dorsey, Valley: Scored two rushing touchdowns and had two 2-point conversions for his team’s first victory, 28-0 over Western Sierra.

Josh Garvin, Sutter: Made 14 tackles, 11 of them solo, in a 26-0 win over Marysville.

Samuel Hernandez-Hartman, McClatchy: Rushed 18 times for 146 yards and a touchdown in a 34-18 win over Kennedy.

Deakon Holden, Christian Brothers: Passed for 186 yards and three touchdowns against Del Campo.

Carter Jackson, Granite Bay: Scored three rushing touchdowns in less than six minutes in a win over Vacaville.

Gio Jimenez, Winters: Rushed six times for 101 yards and two scores and had six tackles in a 70-0 win over Esparto.

Donte Jacobs, Monterey Trail: Made 17 tackles, 12 solo, in a 41-35 win over Laguna Creek.

Austin Katapodis, Woodcreek: Passed for 165 yards on 5-of-8 passing and two touchdowns in a win over Lincoln.

Bradley Kenny, Center: Scored five touchdowns, giving him 18 on the season, in a 55-21 win over Colfax.

Thomas Koi, Elk Grove: Rushed eight times for 168 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-17 win over Cosumnes Oaks.

John Koett, Vista del Lago: Passed for 263 yards and four touchdowns, two to Will Greene, in a 48-12 win over Sacramento.

Brody Krupp, Woodcreek: Had 134 yards of offense, made five tackles and three PATs and scored on a 2-point play in a win over Lincoln.

Whit Kruse, Twelve Bridges: Completed 11 of 15 passes for 252 yards and four touchdowns in the first half of a 55-6 win over Wheatland.

CJ Lee, Jesuit: Passed for a school-record five touchdowns in the first half of a 44-8 win over Sheldon.

Kahirre Louis, Natomas: Had 10 total tackles, four sacks and forced two fumbles in a loss to Armijo.

Marcus Maveety, Granite Bay: Had seven tackles and broke up two passes against Vacaville.

Mateo Mojica, Bradshaw Christian: Rushed for 89 yards and a score, made 10 tackles and had an interception in a 45-0 win over Dixon.

Sean O’Brien, Liberty Ranch: Had four quarterback hurries against Nevada Union.

Erick Orme, Oak Ridge: Rushed for 77 yards and three touchdowns in a 31-7 win at Pleasant Valley-Chico.

Caden Pinnick, Del Oro: Passed for 315 yards and a touchdown and ran for one in a 31-13 win over Casa Roble.

Sage Pittman, El Dorado: Passed for 198 yards and three touchdowns in a 39-13 win over Woodland.

Tommy Poe, Del Oro: Caught eight passes for 120 yards against Casa Roble.

Hakim Reynolds, Grant: Returned three interceptions for touchdowns against Burbank to tie a Sac-Joaquin Section record.

Austin Sanchez, Ponderosa: Had 297 yards of total offense against Johnson.

Koby Shabazz, Grant: Had 85 yards receiving, 21 yards in kickoff returns and 25 on punt returns against Burbank.

Caleb Smithee, Ponderosa: Had 218 all-purpose yards against Johnson.

Jojo Trzcinski, Franklin: Rushed for 55 yards, made seven tackles, had two sacks and returned a blocked field goal 85 yards in a 6-0 win over Davis.

Henri Reed, Lindhurst: Rushed for 132 yards with an 83-yard touchdown run and had an interception in a 27-0 win over Golden Sierra.

Angel Reyna, Del Campo: Passed for 229 yards and three touchdowns in a 45-29 loss to Christian Brothers.

Beaux Sauve, Del Oro: Caught four passes for 120 yards against Casa Roble.

Marcel Urquhart, Del Oro: Rushed for two touchdowns and caught another against Casa Roble.

Tyler Villa, El Dorado: Rushed for 148 yards and two scores, including an 85-yarder, to beat Woodland.

Vontrelle Waffer, Monterey Trail: Rushed for 159 yards and three touchdowns in a 41-35 win over Laguna Creek.

Tristan Watkins, Sutter: Rushed 16 times for 119 yards and a score against Marysville.

Covon Wheeler, Highlands: Rushed for 133 yards on four carries and two scores, including a 75-yarder, in a 55-7 win over Florin.

Jasen Womack, Oak Ridge: Made seven tackles and had an interception against Pleasant Valley.
