Prince William will leave the U.K. next week for a solo trip to Germany—and although he will be traveling by his lonesome, his visit will see him engage in one of his favorite pastimes: soccer.

Today, Kensington Palace confirmed that the Prince of Wales will make his way to Frankfurt Arena on June 20 for the UEFA EURO 2024 group stage match between England and Denmark. William will put on a display of support as president of the Football Association, the governing body of English soccer. The game will mark two of three matches for England, who will first take to the pitch on Sunday, June 16, to face Serbia.

The news comes just two days after William paid England's National Football team a visit at St. George's Park. The prince met several players and coaches and gave the squad a pep talk, during which he delivered some adorable advice from Prince Louis.

"I was on the school run this morning with the children and I said, 'What shall I say to the England team today?,'" William said during the chat.  "The best bit of advice I got you was to eat twice the amount you normally would eat."

"So, I then had visions of all of you running around with massive great tummies and loads of stitches on the pitch, so I think maybe take my youngest's advice with a pinch of salt," he said, in reference to Louis, who is the youngest of his and Kate Middleton's three children, following behind Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince George, 10.

William's visit will be his first solo international trip since Kate announced her cancer diagnosis on March 22. The prince traveled abroad last week, that time to Normandy, France, for the 80th anniversary of D-Day, accompanied by Queen Consort Camilla and King Charles III, who is undergoing his own cancer treatment.

It appears William will be stepping out as a party of one for the foreseeable future, as Kate has postponed all public engagements to focus on her health as she undergoes a regular schedule of preventative chemotherapy treatments. In a recent report, it was stated the princess's cancer has been "very grueling" but she has "turned a corner." She has a newfound energy that she has been channeling into spending time with her kids, but it is unknown when she will return to work and what exactly her royal role will look like.
