Real-life Hollyoaks couple share loved-up picture from romantic Greek holiday

Real-life Hollyoaks couple Niamh Blackshaw and Angus Castle-Doughty have shared photos from their romantic Greek holiday on Instagram.

The couple confirmed they were dating in January by sharing a sweet black-and-white photo of them posing in front of a Christmas tree.

Now the couple have taken their romance abroad with Blackshaw, who plays Juliet Nightingale on the Channel 4 soap, sharing a series of stunning pics.

In one of the photos, the couple are seen loved-up and posing together for a selfie.

"Reflecting on secret beaches and clear water - grateful, grateful, GRATEFUL (p.s thank you for all the love this week, I’m so happy Juliet is so loved xx)," Blackshaw wrote.

Over on his Instagram, Castle-Doughty shared his own series of photos.

He captioned his post: "Views for days (pushed @niamhblackshaw in the pool). Went to Greece for the weekend, would highly recommend x."

Castle-Doughty played the evil Eric Foster on Hollyoaks, with his character's final scenes airing earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Blackshaw will be departing the soap in the coming weeks, with her character Juliet recently told her illness is terminal.

As Juliet's story comes to an end, Blackshaw will be fronting a new campaign launched by the Channel 4 soap which invites viewers to “share their own cancer stories, memories, and bereavement journeys”.

Announcing the campaign, Blackshaw said in a promotional video: "Juliet’s Hodgkin lymphoma is now terminal. Over the next few weeks, you’ll see Juliet tell loved ones, live out her last days, and then she is going to die.

"In a way to commemorate Juliet as a character, and to do something positive, we want to come together and share stories of loved ones who may have been touched by cancer.”

Hollyoaks streams first online via Channel 4, with new episodes dropping each weekday morning. The show airs Mondays to Fridays at 6.30pm on Channel 4, and at 7pm on E4.

Selected omnibus episodes are available via Prime Video.
