The Grammy winner previously performed the Reba theme song, a reworked version of her 2001 single "I'm a Survivor," which has since gone viral on social media multiple times and remains a staple in McEntire's concerts to this day.

The "Fancy" singer says working on the new series, which reunites her with former Reba costar Melissa Peterman, has been "so much fun" thus far.

"Rex Linn, my boyfriend, is also part of the show. We've got a great ensemble with same producers, showrunner and writers as we had with the Reba show, and it's a great script," explains McEntire, before detailing the plot.

"My [character Bobbie's] dad was Happy, that was his name, and we owned a tavern called Happy's Place," she says. "Well, Happy passed, and so he's passed the tavern onto me, but there's a little hiccup involved, so that's the mystery right there. Everybody has to tune in and watch it, and I hope they love it."

The "hiccup" in question? Bobbie discovers she has a new business partner in the half-sister (Belissa Escobedo) she never knew she had, NBCUniversal previously announced.

On Happy's Place, Peterman will portray Gabby, a bartender who's "a bit needy and dramatic" and would've loved to be Bobbie's sister, according to the network.
