Savannah Chrisley Is 'Looking Into' Freezing Her Eggs So She Doesn't 'Feel Pressured' to Have a Kid

The "Unlocked" podcast host opened up about the possibility of having kids of her own

Savannah Chrisley is getting candid about her future as a mom.

On this week's episode of her podcast Unlocked, the Chrisley Knows Best star, 26, opened up about her desire to have kids of her own.

The podcast host, who is the primary guardian of Chloe and her brother Grayson after a federal judge sentenced her parents Todd and Julie to a combined 19 years in prison for tax fraud in November 2022, revealed that she's "looking into" freezing her eggs so she can have kids on her own time.

"I also am looking into freezing my eggs, and I feel like that's something you guys may be interested in considering the fact that 90% of my following is female," she said to her listeners. "But the reason I want to do it is so I don't feel pressured to have to have a kid."

After candidly discussing her struggles with endometriosis, she explained, "A doctor in L.A. was like, 'You need to be done having kids by the time you're 30 because of all your health stuff, this, that, whatever.' So, of course, that's in the back of my mind."

"I'm getting closer to 30, and I don't wanna feel like I have to have a kid right now," she continued. "I also want to basically have an insurance policy to have kids whenever I wanna have them."

In her May 28 podcast episode, Chrisley opened up about the emotional Mother's Day she experienced this year.

"Mother's Day, I don't know. It just felt weird. I don't even know if it, like yes, it sucked, but it just felt weird," Chrisley began. "I mean, Chloe and Grayson are freaking angel children. They are the sweetest kids in the entire world, and they make it so easy."

"But Chloe wrote a letter to me for Mother's Day, and the letter says, 'Happy Mother's Day to Savannah. I know that you weren't expecting me and Grayson to come in your hands, but you are doing a great job with me and Grayson. Keep up your work. Love, Chloe.'"

"And literally, when I first read it, y'all, I just burst into tears because that is the sweetest, I mean, she's 11 years old and she was kinda dealt really crappy cards," Chrisley continued.
