Second local location of Midwest-style pizza restaurant will open in South Charlotte
The Crust Pizza, a Midwest-style pizza restaurant, will open its second Charlotte location at Promenade on Providence around January.
When it opens in South Charlotte, diners can look forward to hand-made flaky style crust (crispy on the bottom and soft on top) with edge-to-edge toppings, plus salads and oven-baked subs.
The Crust also has a Charlotte location at ParkTowne Village off Woodlawn and Park roads. The third and original location for the pizzeria with ties to Ohio is actually not in Ohio but in Naples, Florida.
On its website, The Crust promises the bread for its subs are just the right amount of crunchy — without hurting your mouth. Its salads are fresh and its pizza slices are square — the best shape, the restaurant claims.
Also at Promenade on Providence, J. Crew opens today and joins recently-opened Bonnie & Clyde’s Lounge.
