The 16th-ranked University of Kentucky men’s basketball team defeated the University of Pennsylvania 81-66 Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

The Wildcats made 34 of 69 shots from the field (49.3%), 8 of 20 from 3-point range (40%) and 5 of 10 from the free-throw line (50%) during the nonconference victory.

The Quakers connected on 26 of 57 from the field (45.6%), 9 of 28 3-pointers (32.1%) and 5 of 9 foul shots (55.6%).
