Stanley Tucci and Colin Firth's devastating gay romance is now on Netflix
Netflix UK viewers can now stream heartbreaking gay romance drama Supernova, starring The Hunger Games' Stanley Tucci and Kingsman star Colin Firth.
The film was added to the streaming service today (April 30), and is available to watch for free as part of an existing or new Netflix subscription.
Tucci plays Tusker to Firth's Sam, a gay couple of 20 years who are trying to navigate life two years after Tusker's early on-set dementia diagnosis.

In an effort to make the most of their time together, both have quit their jobs and put plans on hold to travel around England in an old camper van, reconnecting with friends and family and reliving treasured memories from their past.
But the trip proves to test their love for one another as secrets are unearthed and the reality of their future looms ever closer.
Tucci and Firth were both praised for their performances in reviews at the time. Supernova has maintained a Fresh Rotten Tomatoes rating of 89%.

Digital Spy gave a five-star review back in 2021, with the film making for emotional viewing.
"While there's no doubt that the final moments of Supernova are truly heartbreaking, it's because of Sam and Tusker's bond that they're beautiful as well," wrote movies editor Ian Sandwell.
"Firth and Tucci excel at making their relationship so genuine that even when difficult decisions are made, you'll understand that it's done out of love. It won't stop the tears from flowing, but there's a warmth there that you'll remember long after the emotional pain has gone."
Those looking for an alternative way to stream Supernova at home can find the film available to buy via Amazon Prime for £5.99. Existing Prime members also have the chance to watch Supernova for free if they sign up to a 7-day StudioCanal Presents free trial.
Supernova can also be rented or bought on Apple TV+ or via the Microsoft Store, and is available on Hulu in the US.
