Strictly Come Dancing's Dianne Buswell has shared a throwback photo of herself and boyfriend Joe Sugg.

The professional dancer and internet personality met on the 2018 series of Strictly, where they were paired together and eventually finished as runners-up to Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton.

Although they didn't win the Glitterball Trophy, Dianne and Joe entered into a relationship that has been going strong for the last five years.

In a recent Instagram post, Dianne shared two photos of herself and Joe: one from 2018 on the Strictly set and one from this year.

She captioned the post "2018 vs 2023", with a 'face holding back tears' emoji and a red heart emoji.

For this year's series of Strictly, Dianne is paired with EastEnders actor Bobby Brazier, and she recently revealed that their first-week dance was inspired by Joe.

Dianne and Joe danced to McFly's 'All About You', which Joe and other vloggers parodied with the 'It's All About You(Tube)' charity music video in 2014.

She also revealed that, despite it being years since he was on Strictly, Joe still practices dancing with her — although it's now in the comfort of their home rather than the BBC studios.

"Whenever a new year of Strictly comes on Joe likes to remind me he still remembers what I taught him," Dianne wrote alongside a clip of them dancing to Toploader's cover of the song 'Dancing in the Moonlight'.

"It really is the best show - makes people just want to dance and when you dance you can't help but feel happy."

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
