Strictly's Jody Cundy gets sentimental gift after exit
Strictly Come Dancing star Jody Cundy has reflected upon his exit from the show, with partner Jowita Przystal giving him a sweet gift.
The couple became the third pairing to be eliminated in series 21, with the duo losing out in the Week 4 dance-off to Eddie Kadi and Karen Hauer.
The pair appeared opposite Fleur East on It Takes Two to discuss their time on the show, with Jowita making a nod to Jody’s success at the Paralympic Games, which has seen the cyclist and former swimmer win eight gold medals.

“We didn’t get that Glitterball Trophy, but you are a champion, so I got you a private gold medal with a Glitterball on it,” said Jowita, with Jody describing the gesture as “cute.”
The pair also spoke about their final performance, which saw them score 19 points for their salsa dance, with Jody saying he enjoyed the dance despite finishing at the bottom of the leaderboard.
“It’s [the exit] sunk in – I’ve really enjoyed it so knowing I’m not going to be doing it again is pretty hard,” he began. “We got some good fun out of it – I had my shirt ripped off and we got some good lifts in there.

“I had a smile on my face during it. In practice there’d be times where Jowita would run at me and I didn’t know what she would do. I’d have her up in the air and be like, ‘I don’t want to drop you,’ and she’d be like, 'It's fine.’ She was like a little kid just bouncing around.
“We’ve made lots of gains in different areas – sadly it wasn’t my dancing that improved that much. But if I compared myself to where I was on day one to now, it’s a huge improvement. I just wish I did a little better.”
