Talking Preps: Does NC high school basketball need a shot clock?

Ultimately they will hand out the state’s oldest and most prestigious award to one boys’ and one girls’ player. The Observer has handed out Mr. and Ms. Basketball for 40 years. It is the biggest high school basketball award in North Carolina.

▪ We debut a new segment, “Who Balled Out,” where we feature video highlights from area players.

▪ On “The Roundtable” segment, the crew debates whether NC high schools should add a shot clock.
