Taskmaster star Rosie Jones's series Disability Comedy Extravaganza is set to return for a third season on Dave.

The show, which began in 2022 on UKTV, showcases up-and-coming comedy talent from across a spectrum of disabilities, which are both visible and non-visible.

Fans will be able to watch the third season on Dave – now rebranded as U&Dave – and streaming service U from this summer, with some returning stars also set to appear.

"Has it been a year already? I can't wait to be back hosting the funniest show on television this summer," Jones said.

"As you know by now, although the series is named after me, it isn't all about me. I am looking forward to introducing everyone to some of the most exciting comedians on to the circuit. Bring it on, Baby!"

"In the space of a few short years, this showcase has become an integral date in the comedy calendar, and as Rosie's career continues to scale new heights, we're committed to ensuring this series does too," added UKTV's commissioning executive Jason Dawson.

"We look forward to showcasing some of the country's finest comedy talent on both U and U&Dave for what will be the biggest extravaganza yet!"

Jones will appear on the next season of Taskmaster, with the comedian set to compete against Emma Sidi, Jack Dee, Babatunde Aléshé and Andy Zaltzman.

Earlier this month, Jones called out a troll on social media who accused her of "ruining" the show and said they wouldn’t be watching, while also claiming she is "guaranteed to win it".

Taking to her Instagram Stories, the star wrote in response: "Everyone feel sorry for Bradley, who is going to miss one of the best series. Cute that he thinks he knows who is going to win though."

Rosie Jones's Disability Comedy Extravaganza season 3 will air on U&Dave and stream on U from this summer. Taskmaster airs and streams on Thursday nights at 9pm on Channel 4, where you can also stream previous series.
