Teenager shot during a birthday party at a Warner Robins home, local police say

A 15-year-old was shot at a birthday party in Warner Robins Monday night, police said.

The Warner Robins Police Department responded to a 911 call in reference to “a large party with shots being reported,” at a home on Lake Front Drive around 11:40 p.m., police said in a news release.

Officers found the victim who was shot twice in the back and requested emergency medical services. He was taken to a local hospital and was listed in stable condition Tuesday, police said.

There was no description for the suspect or suspects, and their identity was unknown, police said.

The shooting was under investigation Tuesday morning.
