Teenagers appear in court following Thetford stabbing

An 18-year-old who was arrested and charged on suspicion of attempted murder has appeared in court.

Elvis Price, 18, of Amulet Close, Thetford, and a 17-year-old appeared at Norwich Magistrates' Court on Thursday after being charged with suspicion of attempted murder.

A man in his 30s was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, with multiple stab wounds after the incident on Bury Road, Thetford, on 10 March.

Price is due to appear at Norwich Crown Court on Thursday 23 May.

Price was charged with attempted murder and being in possession of a knife blade or sharp pointed article in a public place.

He will be remanded in custody until his crown court appearance next month.
