Tim Hortons brings back Smile Cookie campaign committing $500K sweet donation to Markham Stouffville Hospital

Tim Hortons' annual Smile Cookie campaign is back, running from April 29 to May 5, with the restaurant owners from Markham and Stouffville announcing a $500,000 donation to Oak Valley Health's Markham Stouffville Hospital (MSH). This generous commitment will be recognized with a pediatric surgical waiting room named in Tim Hortons' honour.

Customers can support the MSH Foundation by purchasing Smile Cookies or other Smile Cookie products. Every dollar from the sales in the local community goes directly to supporting families and children at MSH.

Axel Schwan, president of Tim Hortons, shared his enthusiasm for the campaign, noting that last year's Smile Cookie initiative raised a record-breaking $19.7 million for over 600 charities and community groups. He expects this year’s campaign to bring similar success.

Suzette Strong, CEO of the MSH Foundation, highlighted how vital partnerships like these are in advancing health-care programs and technological innovation. She encouraged the community to support the Smile Cookie campaign and check out the MSH Foundation's website for special edition Smile Cookie personality pins and information on how to win Tim Hortons gift cards through Instagram and Facebook.
