The Traitors UK to get celebrity version in 2025
The Traitors UK is lining up a celebrity version.
Speculation has been rife that a UK incarnation featuring familiar faces could be on the cards following the success of the first two seasons of the show.
Now Deadline reports that an agreement between the BBC and production company Studio Lambert is close, with the celebrity version likely to film in 2025 for a broadcast later that year.

Claudia Winkleman is likely to return as host, with the season airing after the upcoming third season of the main show hits screens. The site also claims that the BBC hopes to attract big name talent.
The Traitors franchise has embraced celebrities before, with the US series' first season seeing a mix of famous faces and civilians compete, while the second's line-up comprised entirely of celebrities.
While no rumours have surfaced over which stars will compete in the UK celebrity version, one famous name who would be up for it is Rylan Clark.
"I'm one of those guys that says 'never say never' to anything. I love watching it," he told Digital Spy earlier this year.

Strictly Come Dancing professional Giovanni Pernice has also expressed keenness, telling The One Show in January: "I love The Traitors… Sign me up right now... Yes!"
He added: "I'm obsessed with this show and I'm obsessed with Claudia [Winkleman]... If there is a celebrity version, please I would give everything to do it."
Elsewhere, Traitors bosses Studio Lambert are lining up a new game show focused on anonymity called The Anonymous.
