Tigers Cool Off in Baths at Denver Zoo
As temperatures rose this summer, keepers at the Denver Zoo made sure resident Amur tigers kept cool by encouraging them to take a dip in baths and ponds.
The snow-loving cats – also called Siberian tigers – are “pretty hard to spot” in the summer and usually spend their time near an air-conditioning unit, the zoo said.
Footage release by the zoo shows Amur tigers playing with plastic containers in a water-filled tub and a pond in their enclosure.
