Josh Ameo, Nation Ford Lacrosse: The Falcons’ sophomore scored three goals, had two assists, four groundballs and three takeaways in a 9-5 win at Oceanside Collegiate Academy, April 4.

Ameo also scored two goals, had two assists and two groundballs in a 10-6 loss to Lucy Beckham, April 6.

Ameo has 54 goals, 39 assists and 78 groundballs for Nation Ford (11-3) this season.

Nico Bartolotti, Clover Baseball: The Blue Eagles’ senior went 3-for-4 with four RBI in a 13-3 win over York in the York County High School Spring Break Slugfest, April 5.

Bartolotti was also 3-for-4 in a 4-3 over Indian Land in the same event, April 3.

Bartolotti went 0-for-2 in an 8-7 loss to Northwestern in the tournament, April 4.

Clover is 11-7 overall this season.

Ethan Belk, Legion Collegiate Baseball: The Lancers’ senior hit .417 with a double and five RBI, while pitching five innings and earning the win with five strikeouts in four games at the Mingo Bay Tournament in Myrtle Beach, April 3-6.

Belk, who is a Wofford College commit, has helped Legion Collegiate to a 13-2 record overall this season.

Maddie Brunning, Clover Softball: The Blue Eagles’ freshman went 4-for-5 with four singles, three RBI and a stolen base in an 11-4 win over at Hanahan, April 3.

Brunning is batting .369 for Clover (13-4) this season.

Joaquin Espinoza, Andrew Jackson Baseball: The Volunteers’ senior went 7-for-10 with three doubles, two runs scored and eight RBI as Andrew Jackson won all four games at the Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach this week.

Espinoza helped Andrew Jackson to wins over Franklin Simpson (KY) (17-0, April 3), East Jessamine (KY) (11-1, April 4), Oakton (VA) (4-2, April 5) and South Laurel (KY) (10-9, April 6).

Andrew Jackson (16-1) has won 16 straight games this season.

Holden Shellnut, Northwestern Baseball: The Trojans’ junior hit for the cycle with a home run, triple, double, single and five RBI in an 8-7 win over Clover in the York County High School Spring Break Slugfest, April 4.

Shellnut also went 3-for-4 with an RBI in a 5-4 win over Nation Ford in the same event, April 5.

Northwestern is 5-5 overall this season.
