The Starz sitcom Party Down, which centered on the trials and tribulations of a Los Angeles-based catering team, never found the wide audience it deserved when it premiered back in 2009. But what the fanbase lacked in size, it made up for in fervent loyalty, and that devotion has finally paid off, because more than a decade on from its cancellation, the show is returning for a third season.

A majority of the show's original cast will be returning for the season, including Adam Scott, Ken Marino, Jane Lynch, Martin Starr, Ryan Hansen and Megan Mullally. The new episodes take place ten years on from the events of season two, and find the gang unexpectedly reuniting despite the fact that most of them have moved on from the catering gig. Per the official Starz synopsis, they'll find themselves "once again stoically enduring the procession of random parties and oddball guests all over Los Angeles." The show's original executive producers are also returning for the revival, including showrunner John Enbom, Rob Thomas, Paul Rudd, and Dan Etheridge.

The third season is executive produced by Party Down alumni Rob Thomas (Veronica Mars, iZombie), John Enbom (iZombie, Benched,), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, Ghostbusters: Afterlife), Dan Etheridge (Veronica Mars, iZombie) and Adam Scott (Severance, Parks and Recreation). Enbom also serves as showrunner. Party Down is produced for Starz by Lionsgate Television.

The OG cast will be joined by a number of new additions, including Jennifer Garner, Tyrel Jackson Williams, Zoë Chao and James Marsden. One of the greatest pleasures of Party Down was its slew of recognizable guest stars, and the revival will continue that tradition, featuring appearances from Abbott Elementary's Quinta Brunson, Parks and Rec's Nick Offerman, and SNL's Bobby Moynihan, among others.
