Water bomber helps extinguish fire after highway collision
A water bomber was called to help put out a fire that erupted when a grader and a tractor trailer collided on the Trans-Labrador Highway Monday.
The accident happened just after 2:30 p.m., about 50 kilometres east of Churchill Falls.
A section of the highway was closed well into Monday evening while the mess was cleaned up.
The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to hospital in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, but is expected to be OK.
