19 Automotive Instagrams to Follow for Your Daily Car Fix

Fast cars and luxury rides.

From Esquire

Instagram is a great place for car obsessives to get their daily fix. Perhaps too much: Every brand seems to have its manufacturer-backed account plus a handful of "fanboy" accounts, so where does one go for the best in automotive geekery? Here is our fool-proof list of the best Instagram accounts in the auto industry (in no particular order).

@Bagged_4_Life

It goes without saying that custom and resto-mod trucks are the hottest items on the collector-car scene these days, so it would be foolish to build this list without them. The @Bagged_4_Life feed is all about the slammed vintage trucks, and day after day they manage to dig up the coolest customs you'll see.

@Stanceworks

At its core, Stanceworks is all about the visual appeal of wheel fitment, and to say they do it well could easily be the understatement of the decade, if not century. Both vehicles and photographers are chosen with an abhorrent amount of scrutiny, and each vehicle posted is the image of perfect clearance and fitting. Looking at lowering and tucking your ride? Take a lesson from @stanceworks.

@Petroliciousco

There isn't anyone producing as beautifully well-executed automotive videos as the crew at Petrolicious. Whether it's a sit-down chat with legendary Porsche builder Magnus Walker or a meeting with the one-and-only Sir Stirling Moss, the Petrolicious crew knows how to produce some top-notch automotive content, paired with a spectacular Instagram feed.

@TheSmokingTire

Matt Farrah's "The Smoking Tire" video series remains one of the most entertaining automotive endeavors on YouTube these days, and he regularly updates his fans via social media. Why keep track of Farrah? This is the same guy who tested how bulletproof an armored Mercedes-Benz was by using himself as the crash test dummy.

@LibertyWalkKato

Viewed by some as the king of the widebody supercar, Wataru Kato of Liberty Walk has fundamentally changed the face of supercar tuning over the years. Thanks to his faithful customers and his regular global travels, his feed is filled with beautiful shots of his widebody kits on everything from Lamborghini Aventadors to Ferrari 458s, and even the Dodge Challenger.

@DTM_Pics

It looks like DTM racing, also known as the German Touring Car series, is still a ways away from coming to North America, but that won't stop fans from getting their DTM fix wherever they can. Thankfully, @DTM_Pics offers a consistent feed of images from the latest races, where Audi, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz regularly do battle.

@SRTUSA

The world of rally racing can lead to some pretty glorious photo ops, and by the look of Subaru Rally Team USA's feed, they've got people on the ground capturing every last one. It's great to see a manufacturer racing team stepping up and showing their fans what rallying is all about.

@KenGushi

Even auto enthusiasts who don't really follow the world of drifting have likely heard of Ken Gushi. This uber-talented Scion Racing driver's antics have spread across the web for the last few years, and wherever he goes, his phone and Instagram account are close at hand. When not prepping for Formula D or Pikes Peak, Gushi could turn up anywhere, so long as there's pavement.

@F1Mike28

Ever wonder what life as an AMG engine builder looks like? Now you can get a first hand look through the eyes of engine builder Michael Kübler as he preps engines for everything from a Pagani Zonda supercar to massive Maybach sedans.

@BasemWasef

From the steep banks of Monza to the Concours of Villa D'Este, auto scribe Basem Wasef uses a keen eye for design and composition to take his followers on the daily grind. Feeds that are all-cars-all-the-time are fun, but Basem does a great job of mixing things up.

@ClubMulholland

No one really does exclusive automotive club like Club Mulholland. Based just north of London, the club organizes roughly half a dozen driving events throughout the year for its members. Each time the troops are rallied, the lineup of vintage classics is a sight to behold.

@RalphGilles

This is another one of those rare occurrences when someone high on the company food chain keeps an open link to the brand's fans. Now the head of Global Design for Chrysler/Fiat, Ralph Gilles is one of those great characters who is never afraid to engage in dialogue via social media. Curious about the new Challenger Hellcat or Viper? Send him a note and see what happens.

@MrGumball3000

To call Maximillion Cooper one of the most interesting men in the world is a bit of an understatement. Between coordinating events for his famed Gumball 3000 Rally and travelling the globe with his stunning wife @TheRealEve, he always shares some auto goodness.

@PanchoMacho

The only motorcycle-based feed in this list, @PanchoMacho is a spectacular glimpse into the modern world of custom motorcycles. From classic '70s- and '80s-inspired choppers to badass post-apocalyptic creations, this feed highlights custom bike builders from around the globe.

@JamesHolmFotograf

There are a lot of great automotive photographers on Instagram, but few get to work with as many supercars on a regular basis as James Holm. Located in Sweden, he is one of the lucky few to have the opportunity to shoot the Koenigsegg Regera.

@Meisturwerk

I'm always a sucker for beautiful composition, and Mitch Button's Instagram feed never disappoints. Whether its his obsession with Ducati, Ferrari, and racing in general, or the subtle glimpse into his luxury goods line, there is an honesty and passion that translates perfectly into his feed.

@CarlosLago6

In the hierarchy of automotive journalism, Carlos Lago has it pretty damn good. Presently the Associate Road Test Editor for Motor Trend, Carlos spends a reasonable amount of time out on the track with some of the hottest cars available to mankind. Rather than save the highlights for the pages of MT, his feed gives enthusiasts an inside look at what he's up to next.

@BernardoSousaRally

A day in the life of a pro rally driver is an interesting thing, and few drivers keep their feeds as personal as Bernardo Sousa. A skim through his feed will give you highlights of recent rallies, shots of his personal Escort RS build, and glimpses into his daily life.

@F1

Believe it or not, finding a good feed for Formula One photos on Instagram is tricky. Most of the drivers love posting photos of themselves rather than any good racing action, and more often than not, the race team feeds are more focused on the events surrounding the race than the race itself. Keep it simple; follow @F1 for a healthy mash up of all things F1.
