2nd annual Chamber Expo to be held late April in Williams Lake

Williams Lake is set to highlight local businesses at an annual community event.

The Williams Lake & District Chamber of Commerce will be holding Chamber Expo 2024, their second annual expo, on Saturday April 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Williams Lake Curling Centre. The event will provide an opportunity for members to promote their businesses to the community, as well as network with each other.

Admission is free for the general public, while the vendor fee to participate is $50 for members and $70 for non-members. There will be food vendors and food trucks, in addition to the many businesses that will be attending.

The Chamber says the expo is an exciting opportunity, and encourages everyone from the community to attend and see what business have to offer.

“Williams Lake has many incredible businesses that provide a wide range of services,” they stated. “Whether you are looking for more information on a specific company, a new job, or wanting to do some shopping, this expo is the place to be.”

Chamber executive director, Tamara Garreau, says the event will showcase local business products and services while promoting shopping local and increasing the local economy.

“Businesses will be invited to speak to the larger group about their business and what makes it unique in our community,” she said. “Our target audience is the general public who will learn more about what our community offers.”

The event will give members the opportunity to connect with customers, build brand awareness, grow their network, showcase their products and services, look for new members or volunteers and post job applications.

“This is a great way for new companies and new organizations to introduce themselves to the town,” the Chamber stated. “We hope to get more chamber members signed up to the expo and hope to see many people stop by to support these local businesses.”
