Last night's Met Gala brought out Hollywood's biggest names for the entertainment industry's Super Bowl of fashion. And while the event itself remains a relatively hush hush affair, there was plenty of piping hot tea from the evening, including real (and designer) food moments.

Kylie Jenner, Em Rata, and Cardi B's Met Gala suites included caviar and fries.

The Upper East Side's Mark Hotel just so happens to be one of the most popular celeb haunts for the Met Gala, and for good reason. Kylie Jenner, Emily Ratajkowski, and Cardi B, among other A-list stars, stayed in luxe $2,500 to $45,000 suites with perks including a lavish menu of potato chips and caviar, the hotel's signature Met Gala French fries, and Jean-Georges’ gourmet organic chicken and grass-fed beef hot dogs topped with kimchi relish, Page Six reports.

Michael Shannon walked the red carpet with a bag of potato chips.

The top of our best dressed list? Michael Shannon. The actor walked the 2024 Met Gala red carpet in a classic black tuxedo and Balenciaga handbag that looked like an actual bag of potato chips.

Anna Wintour banned three foods from the menu.

What Anna Wintour says, goes—and we're not just talking about the dress code. The Vogue editor-in-chief banned three foods from the Met Gala menu simply because she's "not particularly fond" of them. According to Page Six, garlic, onions, and chives were a no-no.

However, according to executive chef/owner proprietor of Great Taste Catering in Los Angeles, there might be more to the rule than just Wintour's personal palate.

"She doesn’t want the food to affect the breath of the celebrity guests. Also, there are several people that are actually allergic to the allium family of bulbous plants, which is rare but possible," Jackson told Parade.

So what was for dinner at the Met Gala?

The evening began with a spring vegetable salad with elderflower foam, raspberry vinaigrette, and olive crumble (to resembles soil) with butterfly-shaped croutons.

"We wanted to create a menu that felt a bit romantic and ethereal, yet focused on the best seasonal ingredients," caterer Olivier Cheng told Vogue. "Drawing on inspiration from the lush gardens and palaces of Sleeping Beauty’s fantasy world, we really aimed to build our own bite-sized fairytale."

Guests enjoyed a filet of beef topped with a tortellini rose for the main course and a "not-so-poison apple" in a nod to Snow White.

"We start with an almond cremeux molded into the shape of a miniature apple, blanketed that with a bright red mirror glaze, and finish by placing it on a walnut-flavored 'leaf,'" Cheng added.

Kendall Jenner and ex Bad Bunny looked real cozy while sipping Clase Azul cocktails at an after party

The Met Gala after parties are *almost* as big of a deal as the Met Gala itself. And while there are a slew of different events, Kendall Jenner and ex Bad Bunny hit up the Après Met 2 Met Gala Afterparty at WSA where they allegedly cuddled up with Casa Azul cocktails.

"They were at the same table, laughing and flirting," an eagle-eyed onlooker told Page Six. "She was rubbing his head." I mean, I think we can all agree tequila + ex typically equals rekindling.

Doja Cat's after party had 2 a.m. burgers and fries

Doja Cat's Met Gala after party included a star-studded guest list, including Kendall Jenner, Paris Hilton, and Cardi B.

At 2 a.m. sharp, attendees were fed plant-based burgers and sides from Neat.
