BBC confirms future of three popular antiques shows
The BBC has confirmed the futures of three popular antiques shows – and it's good news.
Antiques Road Trip and its sister series Celebrity Antiques Road Trip will both be back for 29th and 13th seasons, respectively, the broadcaster has confirmed.
Additionally, The Travelling Auctioneers, which began two years ago, will be back for a third season.

“Get ready for a treasure trove of entertainment! With their long track record, we're thrilled to be working with STV Studios on these returning hit series," said Muslim Alim, the BBC's commissioning editor for Daytime and Early Peak.
“All three of them promise to deliver more riveting journeys from across the UK as experts hunt for, restore, and auction off unique finds.”
Craig Hunter, STV Studios' creative director of Factual, added: “I’m delighted with the ongoing success of these returning STV Studios formats.
"This order is a testament to the BBC’s commitment to the Nations, and I couldn’t be prouder of the hard-working teams that continue to deliver a fresh twist on these much-loved brands.”

Antiques Road Trip, which has been on air since 2010, sees two experts compete with a limited budget to buy antiques and collectables, before selling them at auction over a series of legs.
The Celebrity version launched in 2011, and recently featured the likes of Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden, Sara Davies and Dianne Buswell, Love Island's Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Davide Sanclimenti, and soap stars Amy Robbins, Michelle Hardwick and Laila Morse.
Meanwhile, The Travelling Auctioneers sees a team of antiques experts help families to turn unwanted items into winning lots at auction.
Antiques Road Trip and The Travelling Auctioneers air on BBC One, while Celebrity Antiques Road Trip airs on BBC Two.
