Ben Affleck Spotted with Wedding Ring in Santa Monica While Wife Jennifer Lopez Promotes “Atlas” in Mexico

Affleck was seen wearing his wedding ring amid reports that he and Lopez are experiencing marital woes

Ben Affleck was seen wearing his wedding ring while out and about in Santa Monica, Calif., on Tuesday, May 21, amid reports that he and Jennifer Lopez are experiencing marital issues.

Affleck, 51, was spotted out with a group of guy friends rocking a casual look that included tan jeans and a navy button-up shirt. His wedding ring was on full display on his left hand.

Earlier in the evening, Affleck dined at upscale Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

Also on Tuesday, Lopez, 54, walked the red carpet solo for the premiere of her upcoming movie Atlas at the Plaza Toreo Parque Central in Mexico City. For that occasion, Lopez donned an angelic floor-length white Chloé gown with oversized ruffles and a plunging neckline.

The piece flowed over her arms and hands, and it was unclear if she wore her wedding ring.

This wasn't the first event Lopez attended alone as she and Affleck face speculation that their marriage is in trouble. On Monday, May 20, Lopez stepped out solo to the Netflix sci-fi movie premiere at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Affleck was not in attendance as he was filming a project of his own — The Accountant 2.

Things are said to be rocky between Lopez and Affleck, who tied the knot in 2022 after rekindling their early 2000s romance.

A source told PEOPLE on Tuesday that their marriage “is not in the best place at the moment."

A music source added that Lopez and Affleck, who are living a few miles away from one another, are not on the same page.

Still, a film source noted, “He’s always been impressed about how she works so hard and has achieved so much success. But the openness and promotion is not his way.”
