Bridgerton Stars Simone Ashley & Phoebe Dynevor Reunite at Met Gala 2024 — See Photos

Another day, another fashionable Bridgerton reunion. Just a couple of months after Jonathan Bailey and Regé-Jean Page linked up at a pre-Oscars party, their on-screen partners just followed suit at the Met Gala 2024.

On May 6, Bridgerton stars Simone Ashley and Phoebe Dynevor — who play Kate Bridgerton (née Sharma) and Lady Daphne Basset (née Bridgerton) on the hit Netflix show — had a mini-reunion of their own on the iconic Met steps, which, for the occasion celebrating the the theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the “Garden of Time” dress code, were covered in a seafoam green shade.

Arriving at the Met Gala, the British actresses graced the carpet on their own before heading into the event. Simone Ashley arrived first, wearing atelier Prabal Gurung. The star opted to wear her hair extra long, which cascaded right into her tube dress, covered in dark gray rhinestones and lace inserts with a crisscross bodice detail showing off her midriff. Matching the hue of her dress, Ashley opted for a smokey eye, nude lips, a touch of blush, and a solid color manicure.

In contrast to Ashley's darker ensemble, Dynevor (who walked the carpet alongside MUA Charlotte Tilbury) opted for a sheer baby pink dress from Victoria Beckham, which featured embroidered floral details covering her breasts and abdomen. The dress also featured a side split, with even more floral lacing that cascaded into a train. Matching the shade of her dress, Dynevor opted for rosey cheeks and lips and kept her jewelry to a minimum with white diamonds.

The stars might have walked the carpet on their own but they made sure to link up inside the event and were spotted conversing together while leaving the event, descending the iconic steps in unison in their contrasting 'fits and coordinating strappy sandals.

After the Met, Dynevor made an outfit change into a black mini dress and was seen leaving the Mark Hotel hand in hand with her former costar Jonathan Bailey, on their way to the Loewe after party. (You can see the photo here.) Bailey wore bespoke Loewe to the gala, but once the sun went down, swapped his tux for an all white ensemble of the brand’s iconic tank top and wide leg trousers.

Fans of Bridgerton will surely appreciate these interactions between the costars, especially since Dynevor won't be part of the upcoming third season of the show. "Well I did my two seasons. I’ve done what I wanted to do with that character and she had a great arc. If they ask me back in the future, who knows?” the actress hinted about her departure.

Luckily for us, though season three of Bridgerton will center around Polin, there will still be plenty of Kanthony, courtesy of Ashley and Jonathan Bailey. The first few episodes of Bridgerton season 3 drop on on May 16, 2024, so this mini Met Gala reunion couldn't have come at a better time.
