Cardi B Switches into Red-Hot Custom Corset Gown for 2024 Met Gala Afterparty — and Offset Attends!

The rapper debuted Revolve's first-ever custom atelier outfit as her after party look, attending the event with on-again, off-again husband Offset

The night was still young for Cardi B, who headed to her own Met Gala afterparty following her show-stopping appearance on the carpet.

In the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday, May 7, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper, 31, threw a bash with Revolve and FWRD. Of course, there was an outfit change.

Cardi B stripped down to a custom-made, one-of-a-kind look by Revolve Atelier. It was made in collaboration with Revolve's team, led by Alessandro Francalanci, as well as Anthony Kenny.

The star of the look was a cinched sequin scarlet corset made of draping fabric at her hips, giving the illusion of a coat tied around Cardi B's body. The silhouette was inspired by "runway corsetry and draping," according to a press release.

Later in the morning, Cardi B was snapped at Richie Akiva's 10th annual "The After" Met Gala afterparty, held at Casa Cipriani. And alongside her was her husband Offset, with whom she shares two kids: daughter Kulture Kiari Cephus, 5, and son, Wave Set Cephus, 2.

The two have had an up-and-down relationship over the years, and split last year with Cardi B confirming in a December 2023 Instagram Live that she is single. But four months later, on April 30, the two were spotted sitting courtside at a Knicks playoff game together.

At Casa Cipriani on Tuesday, the couple looked to be back on, holding hands as they navigated their way through the crowd. The "Legacy" rapper, 32, dressed more casual, wearing ripped blue jeans and a green sweatshirt embroidered with flowers (a fitting choice, considering florals played a big part in the 2023 Met Gala's "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion" theme).

Meanwhile, Cardi B's after-hours getup was the polar opposite from her red carpet ensemble, which happened to be the biggest gown of the night. She was serving total Ursula from The Little Mermaid vibes in a voluminous black dress with a train so grand, it had a life of it's own and consumed the Met steps and required over 5 handlers to help.

If that wasn't enough, she added height with a towering headpiece, plus green jewels to match the greenery of the carpet's backdrop and "The Garden of Time" dress code.
