Ella Cruz and Julian Trono movie to launch soon
7 Jun - It was reported that the popular dance tandem - Ella Cruz and Julian Trono's first movie is set to launch soon.
As reported on Inquirer, the two dance partners, known to fans as JulianElla, star as a couple in Viva Films' romantic-comedy, "Fanboy/Fangirl".
Cruz plays a character named Aimee, A film dubber who is a fan of a frustrated actor named Ollie (Trono).
Speaking about the project, which began its production work in April, Cruz admitted that she is nervous and pressured about doing well especially since Viva's boss, Vic del Rosario has already seen it.
"I keep asking our director [if this is real] and are we really about to finish the movie? Is it true that we'd be showing it soon?," she enthused.
She admitted that it was a different experience altogether despite doing it with Trono, since it was the first time they are working together as actors and not as dancers.
"We are looking forward to being accepted as well. We just do whatever is given to us, as long as we like doing it," she said.
The movie is scheduled for release on 12 August.
