Your guide to Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh: Lineup, day parties, tickets

As Hopscotch Music Festival returns to Raleigh for its 13th year of performances, expect throngs of people to take to the streets for live music, art and more.

Here’s what you need to know when navigating downtown during festival weekend, Sept. 7 to 9.

Note: It’s a rain or shine event.

Who is playing Hopscotch 2023?

There are nearly 100 Hopscotch acts set to play at two main stages and at clubs across downtown, according to the festival website. There are other acts scheduled at “day parties.”

Headliners for the three-day event include pop group Japanese Breakfast, indie singer Soccer Mommy, rapper Denzel Curry and rock band Pavement.

Where is Hopscotch 2023? How to attend

Hopscotch will be held at two main stages at Moore Square and at City Plaza on Fayetteville Street.

Club shows will be held at staggering times at the following Raleigh venues:

  • Lincoln Theatre — 126 E Cabarrus St.

  • The Pour House — 224 S. Blount St.

  • King’s — 14 W. Martin St.

  • Transfer Co. — 500 E. Davie St.

  • Nash Hall — 108 S Blount St.

  • Wicked Witch — 416 W. South St.

  • Neptune’s Parlour — 14 W. Martin St.

  • Slims — 227 S. Wilmington St.

Hopscotch 2023 tickets, prices

Single-day passes are not available for this year’s festival. There are two three-day options, and prices will increase as the festival gets closer.

General admission tickets start at $199 (before fees). They include:

  • Three days of music at City Plaza and Moore Square stages

  • Access to late- night sets at participating clubs in downtown Raleigh

VIP passes begin at $375 (before fees). They include:

  • Three days of music at City Plaza and Moore Square stages

  • Priority access to late night sets at participating clubs in downtown Raleigh

  • Access to the VIP Oak Lounge at City Plaza and Moore Square, plus pre-show parties

  • A “VIP swag bag”
