Gwyneth Paltrow appears to be ready to downsize!

According to a report from the Wall Street Journal, the Oscar-winning actress is selling her 8,000 sq. ft. home in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles for $29.99 million.

Property records obtained by WSJ show that the Shakespeare in Love actress, 51, bought the house — which sits on two-thirds of an acre in Mandeville Canyon — with her ex-husband Chris Martin in 2012 for $9.95 million.

She and the Coldplay singer were married for nearly ten years from 2003 to 2014 and share daughter Apple, 20, and son Moses, 18. After Paltrow married producer and writer Brad Falchuk in 2018, he and his two kids also moved into the property, listing agent Lea Porter told the outlet.

The agent added that the actress is selling the nearly $30 million house to downsize, as her kids are getting older. Moses graduated from high school at the end of May and his parents reunited for the special occasion.

Paltrow also owns a newly-finished property in Montecito, Calif., near Santa Barbara, as well as a home in Amagansett, N.Y. She and Falchuk are planning to split their time between Montecito, New York and perhaps a third L.A. home, Porter said.

She recently hosted a one-time-only Airbnb stay at it's guest house.

The outside of the Brentwood house is inspired by classic California architecture and has some Southern charms. As visitors come up the winding driveway, they're greeted with the sprawling one-story house's gray brick exterior and grassy front yard.

This type of property is common for Mandeville Canyon, located at the base of the Santa Monica mountains. Privacy is also a big part of what draws celebs like Paltrow to the area.

“The privacy factor is huge,” Porter told the Journal.

The front hallway, featuring a black-and-white tiled floor and French doors, leads into the large living room, complete with a rustic wood-burning fireplace, white wood-paneled walls and a built-in bar and bookshelves.

According to Porter, the house was built in 1950 and gut renovated in 2009, and the listing states that it's quite a high-tech property, featuring sediment and carbon block filtration and alkaline for its drinking water systems.

The kitchen is any Goop fan's dream — featuring high ceilings, massive windows, black tile floors and a marble island. Listing photos show tons of Paltrow's cookbooks tucked into built-in cabinets and a wood-burning oven.

The large backyard rounds out the mansion's amenities with a deep plunge pool, gardens and even a newly constructed guest house with stackable doors to open it to the backyard, a temperature-controlled wine cellar, an office, a gym, a game room and movie theater.

Another one-bedroom apartment above the house's garage makes for a total of eight bedrooms and 11 bathrooms throughout the entire property.
