Jeremy Allen White Agrees to Daily Alcohol Testing to See Kids, Custody Filing Shows

'The Bear' star shares his two daughters — Ezer Billie and Dolores Wild — with estranged wife Addison Timlin

Jeremy Allen White and estranged wife Addison Timlin have filed their custody agreement.

According to documents obtained by PEOPLE, White and Timlin, both 32, have agreed to joint custody of their two daughters — Ezer Billie, 4, and Dolores Wild, 2 — so long as White complies with using a Soberlink device to ensure that he is sober every time he sees his kids.

The Bear star must test twice with the device on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays when he has custodial time with his daughters. On the Saturdays that he is with his kids, he must test three times. On Sundays, only once, the filing states.

He is also required to attend individual therapy at least once a week and at least two Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week.

According to the device's website, Soberlink is a "professional-grade breathalyzer system with facial recognition that automatically sends results in real-time to designated individuals."

A representative for White did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Timlin filed for divorce in May after over three years of marriage. Shortly after the duo announced their separation, the Californication actress got candid about raising her kids as a newly “single mom” and the challenges she’s experienced since their split.

"Being a single mom is not how I pictured it," she captioned a series of photos that featured her kids. "It is so f---ing hard. It is all out covered in s--- crying on the floor kick you in the shins screaming with no sound coming out hard. It's not the natural order of things."

Timlin noted that life as a single parent could be "exhausting" and "lonely," especially "when something magical happens and you have to tell yourself 'don't forget this' because theres no witness by your side," she continued. "It's so painful."

"Doing it alone has given me more strength and more empathy and more tears than anything else in my life ever has," she said.

Since then, it seems like Timlin and White have been able to find some common ground as they were spotted hugging at their daughter's soccer game.

“They are still separated, but getting along,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “They love their children and all spend time together. When she filed for divorce, she was upset. Things have settled a bit.”

The source added that it’s been “difficult” for Timlin to “parent alone a lot” while White is away on set filming his projects.

“When Jeremy works, she feels emotionally drained,” the source noted. “There is still a lot of love between them though.”
