Kickoff time, TV announced for Boise State’s football game at unbeaten Memphis Sept. 30

The Boise State football team has another afternoon game on its schedule.

The Broncos will kick off against Memphis of the American Athletic Conference at 2 p.m. Mountain time Saturday, Sept. 30, at Simmons Bank Liberty Stadium. The game will be televised on ESPN2.

It will be Boise State’s second appearance on the ESPN family of networks this season, following the opener at Washington.

The Boise State and Memphis football teams will be playing for the first time, but the two schools have met twice recently in men’s basketball. The Broncos faced the Tigers in the 2021 NIT and the 2022 NCAA Tournament, with Memphis winning both games.

Memphis has started the season 3-0, with wins over Bethune-Cookman, Arkansas State and Navy. The Tigers have one of the top pass defenses in the nation, ranking No. 2 by limiting opponents to 112.7 yards per game.

Memphis plays at Missouri on Saturday, while Boise State opens Mountain West Conference play this week with a Friday night game at San Diego State.
