Kylie Jenner Rocks a Gown with a Cone Bustier and Flower in Her Hair for Head-Turning 2024 Met Gala Appearance

This is Jenner’s seventh Met Gala since making her debut in 2016

Kylie Jenner stopped everyone in their tracks on the 2024 Met Gala steps.

The 26-year-old has already had a jam-packed year, from helming her cosmetics empire, taking daughter Stormi, 5, to Paris Fashion Week, designing her clothing line — and then launching a spirits company (as one does). But she still found time to pull off a showstopping look at the May 6 event, where she was joined by her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner as well as their mom, Kris Jenner.

Jenner nailed this year’s dress code, “The Garden of Time” inspired by the “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” exhibit, in an ethereal pale pink gown.

The form-fitting dress featured a dramatic train and cone-shaped accents at the bust. She accessorized with matching pumps and a flower-adorned to her sleek bun. Curly tendrils fell out of her chic hairstyle, adding a romantic element.

This marks Jenner’s seventh time at the Met Gala since making her debut in a bejeweled sheer Balmain design in 2016, most notably her “King Kylie” era.

Over the years, the Kardashians star has experimented with many aesthetics, from bridal glam (remember when she walked the steps in an off-white wedding dress she wore in 2022?) to mysterious bombshell (she wore an all-black Alexander Wang gown in 2018 only a few months after giving birth to Stormi in February of that year).

Her campy lilac Versace chainmail gown — which she teamed with a matching wig — from 2019 was so iconic that it was made into a miniature doll version for Jenner's pocket-size Bratz figurine.

For her most recent appearance in 2023, Jenner turned heads in a skin-baring Haider Ackermann gown that required very specific instructions from the designer restricting Jenner’s mobility in the dress.

"We decided on the red dress [for the Met.] I just think it's different than anything I've ever worn before," Jenner said in a behind-the-scenes Met Gala vlog. "I think the red really stands out. I just love how classy it is, and it's timeless."
