Lily Allen had to say "f--- you" to an A-lister in her own way.

The pop star, 39, opened up about how she got "petty" revenge on a celebrity — which took place while she was staying at Elton John's home in France — during a recent episode of her Miss Me? podcast.

“This was when I was managed by Elton John’s company and I’d been sent to his house in the south of France to like dry out for a couple of weeks,” Allen said during the episode.

She continued: “And while I was there I got a phone call from somebody very famous at the time asking me if I could perform at a charity event that they were involved in she was asking me to sing a song with her boyfriend, who was a musician."

Allen ended up telling the person she'd "love to" but since it was next week, she didn't have time to rehearse "because I'm in the south of France."

“She was like, ‘Don’t worry, we’ll come out there and we’ll rehearse with you,'" Allen recalled of the conversation with the celebrity.

The "Smile" singer continued: “They come to the South of France, they arrive, and it’s like late afternoon and she’s like, ‘I think you guys should sing [Simon & Garfunkel’s] ‘The Sound Of Silence’. And I was like, ‘Ooh, I don’t know about that, I really don’t want to – that’s out of my comfort zone’. And she got the right hump.”

Instead, Allen suggested doing "Somethin' Stupid' by Frank and Nancy Sinatra and said she'd go downstairs with the artist to practice.

The musician's famous girlfriend "grabbed my arm and she said, ‘If you think I’m leaving you alone with my f---ing boyfriend you’ve got another thing coming.’"

The "Not Fair" musician said, "I was on my own in this house and it was the two of them and just me, and she was quite a lot older than me, and a lot more famous and more successful, and I just thought, ‘I’m stranded and you’ve got me snookered.’"

“Her boyfriend was not someone I found remotely attractive and she was incredibly beautiful – still is – and so should not have found me remotely a threat," Allen noted.

Then, the "LDN" performer revealed how she got revenge on the A-lister, which entailed insisting she present Allen with an award near the end of the event.

“I was like, ‘There is no way this person will be able to hold themselves together for that long and if I can stay sober then she’ll have to present me with the award when I’m looking pristine and brilliant and she looks completely f---ed.’ And it f---ing worked," Allen said.

She added: "Front cover of the papers the next day were like, ‘So and so was a complete mess,’ and then pictures of me with my award,"

Despite her act of retribution, Allen does "really like" the mystery celebrity.

She continued: “It was just a particularly bad phase that both of us were going through at the time. All is forgiven on my part anyway. But she’s probably just finding out. So if you are listening and you recognize yourself in this story ‘I’m sorry.’ It was particularly petty.”

Allen also recently opened up about a one-sided feud she had with the "Tiny Dancer" hitmaker, 77, on her Miss Me podcast.

The British pop star was once a client of a management company owned by John but was dropped from the roster in 2014, around the time she went through a divorce and struggled with substance abuse,

At the time, Allen sent John a "vulnerable" letter expressing her grievances and was offended when she never received a response. However, she never actually sent the note.

"I was quite cross with him for a few years for not having responded to this letter because I’d been very vulnerable and open, and I thought it was mean of him, actually," she said.

But when she moved to America and was unpacking, Allen found it and realized she never sent it.
