Love Island viewers concerned for Nicole after spotting Ciaran's comment

Love Island viewers have shared their concern for Nicole Samuel after Ciaran Davies's comment about one of the show's new bombshells.
In last night's (July 1) episode, Ciaran admitted he knew new islander Ellie Jackson, saying he wasn’t sure whether he had slept with her in the past.
Ciaran had claimed before that he had slept with 120 women, and said in his latest comments: "I think I slid into her DMs. I don’t think she's one of the 120."

He later said he previously messaged her though had never met her before, Ellie telling Ciaran that it was the first time they had met "properly", having bumped into each other in a bar.
The show later teased potential danger through a teaser for the next episode, in which the islanders in the other villa learn the winner of a racing game – the show normally eschewing revealing the winner to the others – as Nicole learns that Ciaran shared a kiss with Lucy.

Viewers have since shared their concern for Nicole, one writing on X (formerly Twitter): "It looks like @LoveIsland is really trying to break Ciaran & Nicole up. Bring a girl they know he fancies, tell Blade to create doubt in her mind, give his name in the kissing challenge between villas. With Nicole's insecurities that is really not fair."
"Why are the producers literally telling Nicole Ciaran was the quickest to wind her up? What happened to the psychologists?" another viewer added.
"I fear Casa might be the end of Nicole and Ciaran," a third person said.
