MAFS star Eden says Jayden split "came out of the blue"
Married at First Sight Australia star Eden Harper has revealed that her split with Jayden Eynaud came "out of the blue".
The pair were coupled up during the experiment in the latest season of the reality show, eventually making it to the final vows where they opted to remain together.
The couple sadly announced last month that they had decided to end their relationship, but Eden has shed some light on their breakup, revealing that it came as a surprise to her.

“I was bawling my eyes out,” she told the Sit With Us podcast. “There were a couple of things about the relationship that were different to what I'm used to but it was something we wanted to work through. It was really shocking to come out of the blue.”
Eden continued by talking about some of the issues the couple faced, with tension arising as they often slept apart whenever Jayden prepared for a fight as part of his kickboxing career.
“[He was] very strict with his sport and training, to the point where he won't share a bed at night so he likes to be able to stretch and recover,” she recalled. “That for me was a big deal breaker almost because I'm like, I need to be able to share a bed with a partner.

“Eventually one of the nights where he came to stay, he said, ‘I can't do this. I feel like I can't meet your expectations’. I was just really confused, because the only thing I'd ever ask him was for a sleepover once a week.
“He made his decision, he didn't really want to have the conversation to be honest. I was holding on to hope that he would realise he was making the wrong decision. I just think I wasn't what he wanted and that's the bottom line and I just really have to accept that.”
