Millie Bobby Brown Wore a Perfect (and Affordable!) Summer Dress to Honeymoon With Her In-Laws

Millie Bobby Brown packed the perfect summer dress for her honeymoon in the Mediterranean. The Stranger Things star, who tied the knot with Jake Bongiovi in May, was seen taking a stroll on the Italian island of Sardinia, in an adorable ruffled white minidress with a blue pattern reminiscent of Greek tiles. The wide square neckline and cinched, ruched bodice give the frock a Spanish silhouette, and it looks like a comfy, breezy choice for the dog days of summer.

She accessorized with white sandals, a woven purse, silver hoops and slicked-back hair. Very polished Mamma Mia. Vogue reports that the dress cost just $180 at Club L London. Cute and affordable.

In the picture, which you can see here, Brown holds hands with her new husband, who opts for the classic American abroad combo of slacks and an untucked linen button-down. Behind him, his rockstar father, Jon Bon Jovi, wears the blue version of the same outfit. Yep, the newlyweds brought Jake’s parents along on their honeymoon. The family is just close like that!

Sardinia seems to be a special place for the pair. The two vacationed there together in July 2022, smoochin’ on a boat and enjoying the sand and sun.

Millie Bobby Brown has previously mentioned how much she admires her mother in law, Dorothea Hurley. “Your passion to help others with your humanitarian work inspires me, and I hope to be half the woman you are,” the actor said after Hurley introduced her at the Glamour Women of the Year event in 2023. “Dorothea has raised her son, my fiancé, to feel comfortable around strong women. To see women as equals. To be an ally, which is exactly what we need. Mothers who have those open and transparent conversations with their sons can promote gender equality for my generation and the next.” Love that for them.
