Pamela Anderson Breaks Her Makeup-Free Streak for 2024 Met Gala Debut — and Icon Pat McGrath Did Her Glam!

Pamela Anderson continued her Pamaissance on the red carpet at the 2024 Met Gala, marking the first time she's ever attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala.

The '90s muse, author and activist brought her effortless style to the iconic Met Gala steps on May 6 wearing a stunning Oscar de la Renta gown with a Noel Stewart faux leather headpiece. Her ethereal gown featured a gathered bodice and dreamy skirt and dramatic train.

Her glittering Pandora jewels added extra elegance to the ensemble. Anderson, who is a Pandora ambassador, complemented her look with pink and white lab grown diamonds containing nearly 200 carats, marking Pandora's debut of pink diamonds. Her necklace was the true star of the look, as the double chain draped down her back.

As for her glam, Anderson stunned in a glamorous glowy look done by legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath herself.

Her long, blonde hair was styled into an effortless '90s-style updo — complete with feather detail — done by hairstylist Orlando Pita.

In August 2023, Anderson starred in Pandora’s campaign in support of its three new lab-grown diamond collections — Pandora Nova, Pandora Era and Pandora Talisman — alongside other stars like former model and Vogue creative director-at-large Grace Coddington, model Precious Lee and actress Amita Suman,

“I think I'm not a trend follower. I would prefer to be a trendsetter," the Baywatch alum says in the commercial. "I think being a pioneer and being yourself is difficult to do in a world that's telling you to be something else. [Whatever I'm doing], I try and find the words that aren't the ones that everybody says. So I'm always trying to be a unique thinker.”

Anderson has been a massive influence since the '90s, but in recent years, her resurgence has renewed her status as cultural icon. The star has embraced a makeup-free aesthetic, taking her new, fresh-faced look everywhere from her 2023 documentary Pamela: A Love Story to the red carpet.

On Sunday, May 5, she appeared at Anna Wintour's pre-Met dinner sans makeup (save for a pop of pink gloss). Anderson looked chic in a slinky, silver chain link party skirt with an oversize white boyfriend-style button-down shirt featuring an asymmetrical collar and extra large cuffs. In addition to her glowing skin, the star wore her hair in a side-parted style.
