PHOTOS: Blizzard buries Atlantic Canada in knee-deep snow

The Maritimes have been pounded with a winter storm resulting in more than 80 centimetres of snow in parts of central New Brunswick and powerful wind gusts of up to 120 kilometres per hour in Halifax.

Environment Canada forecasts another 15 to 25 cm of snow to hit southeastern New Brunswick and western Prince Edward Island by mid-week.
