Prime Video have turned to one of their hit teen romance movies for a British remake.

The Spanish-language film My Fault — or Culpa mía, in its native tongue — adapted the first instalment of author Mercedes Ron's Culpables trilogy of novels, with the sequels also set to be turned into films from the streamer.

Prime Video is now moving forward with an English-language version called My Fault: London, where Asha Banks and Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers) take on the roles of Noah and Nick.

The pair's paths first cross with their parents get married and they all move their newly-blended family into a glitzy London home.

Noah and Nick immediately clash as step-siblings, but an attraction continues to draw them together. At the same time, Noah has no idea her father has recently been released from prison and is tracking her every move.

Melissa Osborn has adapted the film for the English language, with directing duo Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler on board to make the movie.

Amazon MGM vice president James Farrell announced the project: "We know fans around the world will be excited to hear that Prime Video will deliver them a brand-new British remake of the first book of Mercedes Ron’s bestselling Culpables trilogy with My Fault: London.

My Fault: London hasn't yet received a UK release date, but production has wrapped up on the project. The Spanish-language sequel Culpa Tuya arrives on Prime Videoin December.
