Sabrina Carpenter Looks Like a Floating Bubble at the Met Gala 2024 — See Photos

Sabrina Carpenter is working late… this time because she's at the Met Gala 2024. The singer just arrived on the red carpet, wearing her finest for fashion’s biggest night of the year — which kind of make her look like a floating bubble.

Carpenter is still relatively new to the Met Gala, but you wouldn't be able to tell by the way she holds herself on the red carpet. When she attended for the first time back in 2022, she revealed how nervous she was to red carpet host extraordinaire Emma Chamberlain.

Back then, she wore a glittering gold two-piece gown featuring a bra top and a maxi skirt with a dramatic train from Paco Rabanne, which was fitting for the Gilded Glamour theme. She styled her signature blonde hair and curtain bangs in loose waves and kept her makeup minimalistic. She told Chamberlain that she had spent the whole day getting ready for the big event, so we can only wonder how long this year's look took.

Since then, Carpenter had yet to grace the Met Gala red carpet again — until now. The Met Gala 2024 might just be her second time attending the event, but it seems Carpenter skipped no detail for such an occasion, from her OPI manicure by celebrity nail artist Zola Ganzorigt (which perfectly matched her dress) to her Velour lash clusters.

Carpenter has been on a roll lately. Last month, she delivered two buzz-worthy performances at Coachella 2024. She also released her new viral song “Espresso” just before taking on the desert festival. Carpenter also supported Taylor Swift as her opening act on the Eras Tour in Latin America, Asia, and Australia earlier this year. Not to mention, she's been in a budding romance with Saltburn actor Barry Keoghan.

Through it all, Carpenter has been mastering her signature style. The singer is known for her doll-like style, including fun and flirty silhouettes, trendy accessories, and retro influences. These days, you truly can't talk about Carpenter without mentioning her signature blowout hairstyle and golden hour-esque makeup, and that's when you know you have hit it big.

Sabrina Carpenter's Met Gala 2024 appearance only further certifies her space in the fashion world, solidifying her as the one to watch this summer and onwards.
