'Selling Tampa' Star Sharelle Rosado Served In The Army For 13 Years As A Paratrooper

The premiere of Selling Tampa is today, and there’s already a ton of early buzz about the Selling Sunset spinoff.

One cast member in particular who’s getting a lot of attention? Sharelle Rosado, the owner of Tampa, Florida-based brokerage Allure Realty, where everyone works. It's an all-woman real estate firm.

The show’s trailer features Sharelle strutting into her agency in a gorgeous suit like a total boss (because, ya know, she is) and later telling her staff that, if they want to leave, don’t let the door hit them on the way out.

But there’s so much more to Sharelle than great fashion. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Selling Tampa star.

Sharelle is an army veteran.

Think Sharelle is a total badass? You don’t know the half of it. She served in the army for 13 years as a paratrooper (meaning, she jumped out of planes for a living), according to Glamour UK. She also was deployed to Afghanistan twice. So yeah, she can handle a little drama at the office.

She founded Allure Reality in 2019.

While Allure Realty isn’t very old, it’s been quite successful. Sharelle told Glamour UK that her team has been closing “huge deals” in Tampa.

Sharelle has a famous fiancé.

Sharelle is engaged to former NFL star Chad Ochocino Johnson, who played in the league from 2008 to 2012. The wide receiver was a six-time NFL Pro Bowler and topped CNBC’s list of “Most Influential Athletes In Social Media” in 2011, beating out LeBron James. Chad said in a February episode of the I Am Woman podcast that he proposed less than a year after the two met.

Oh, and she’s pregnant.

Sharelle and Chad are expecting a baby together—a girl. It was news that Sharelle discovered while filming Selling Tampa.

"It was shocking. I think I was crying and laughing at the same time," she told People. "I just can't wait. It's actually going by so fast. I found out I was pregnant while we were filming, so time is flying. It doesn't even seem like it's been that long." This will be Chad’s eighth child and Sharelle’s fourth.

“I always wanted a big family," she said. "I think with this last one, she's just the perfect number to finish it off."

She pitched the idea of 'Selling Tampa' by sliding into a DM.

Sharelle told Glamour UK that she actually reached out to Selling Sunset’s executive producer about her brokerage. “I thought it was time to turn the spotlight on us and began contacting various people I knew in the television industry to see if they were interested,” she said. “I began following them on social media too and decided to slide into the DM’s of Selling Sunset's executive producer Adam DiVello. The rest is history.”
