The fourth week of the high school football season is in the books in South Carolina.
It’s time to vote for The State’s high school football Player of the Week from Midlands-area high schools and games played Sept. 9. Voting ends Friday at noon. The winner will be announced on Lou Bezjak’s Twitter page.
The nominees are listed below. Please note that these polls are not scientific and are meant to be just for fun.

Maurice Anderson, RB, Dutch Fork: Junior had 174 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns, including a 73-yard kickoff return for a TD, in the 54-7 win over Stratford.
Brady Albro, QB, Chapin: Junior was 33-of-44 passing for 358 yards and three touchdowns in 27-14 win over Newberry.
Michael Boulware, LB, Gray Collegiate: Sophomore had 15 tackles, one sack, a forced fumble and fumble recovery in a 30-12 win over Camden.
Myles Brown, LB, Ridge View: Senior had six tackles, four for loss, a sack and returned a blocked punt for a touchdown in a 42-0 win over Spring Valley.
Kendall Byrd, WR, AC Flora: Sophomore caught six passes for 118 yards and four touchdowns in the 42-35 win over Brookland-Cayce.
Bryant Cherry, LB, Airport: Junior had 19 tackles, 12 solo, in a 10-7 win over Lugoff-Elgin.
Stephen Collier, WR, River Bluff: Junior caught seven passes for 164 yards and a TD in 63-28 win over South Aiken.
Brandon Cromer, WR, Lexington: Junior and South Carolina baseball commit had four catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns in the 32-7 win over Blythewood.
Manny Johnson, RB, Hammond: Junior carried it 28 times for 146 yards and two touchdowns in 20-6 win over Laurence Manning.
Cam McMillon, QB, Fairfield Central: Sophomore was 23-of-28 passing for 290 yards and 4 TDs, plus one rushing touchdown, in the 46-44 win over Lancaster.
Krew Morris, WR, Gilbert: Junior caught 10 passes for 98 yards and a TD in 55-9 win over Pelion.
David Rodgers, LB, Cardinal Newman: Senior had 7 ½ tackles, four for loss, and a sack in a 44-6 win over Atlantic Academy.
Landon Sharpe, QB, White Knoll: Junior was 14-of-19 passing for 263 yards, three touchdowns and also carried it seven times for 49 yards and a TD in 54-7 win over Westwood.
