WAM Picks: St. John's Days, Father's Day and a Bannerman Bash!

FRIDAY

St. John's Days — The mayor kicks it off with a bang — Dennis O'Keefe will fire a Snyder Enfield rifle to officially launch the celebrations in the field next to the Signal Hill Interpretation Centre. Noon.

St. John's Days — Roast s'mores and have a sing-a-long outside the Signal Hill Interpretation Centre. Don't forget to bring a camp chair and dress warmly. Starts at 7 p.m.

The Tuckamore Classical Music Festival — Launching their 15th season with a free performance by the award-winning Duo Concertante and special guest Matilda Goldie, at St. Andrew's Church. 8 p.m.

Anti-Violence March — Peace On George' rally, 7 p.m. on George Street.

Festival at Ochre Pit Cove — Readers Leslie Vryenhoek and Berni Stapleton, with music by The Secrets at 8 p.m.
