BBC's Gladiators reboot renewed for season 2
The BBC's Gladiators reboot has been renewed for a second season.
The classic Saturday night game show returned to screens back in January, debuting to impressive reviews and viewing figures.
The BBC has now revealed ahead of the season finale this weekend (March 30) that the show will be back for more.

“Gladiators has really kicked this year off with a bang, and we’re so delighted that the fans have come to the show in their masses," said the BBC's head of entertainment Kalpna Patel-Knight.
"It has been wonderful to hear how much families have loved watching this together, as part of the BBC’s Saturday evening entertainment offering. We can’t wait for more action from the Gladiators.”
Dan Baldwin, Hungry Bear Media's managing director added: “It’s no exaggeration to say that the response to Gladiators has been phenomenal. The episodes have been packed with nail-biting drama, thrilling action and huge emotion.

The new version is hosted by Bradley and Barney Walsh, and features Gladiators Sabre, Legend, Nitro, Diamond, Phantom, Athena, Bionic, Fire, Giant, Dynamite, Viper, Electro, Apollo, Comet, Steel and Fury.
Gladiators originally ran on ITV between 1992 and 2000, and was later rebooted by Sky in 2008 for a short-lived revival.
Gladiators airs on BBC One.
