Ice Spice's 2024 BET Awards Performance of 'Phat Butt' and 'Think You the S--- (Fart)' Is Literally Explosive
The rapper is nominated for three awards this year including best female hip hop artist, best collaboration and video of the year
Ice Spice gave an explosive performance at the 2024 BET Awards.
On Sunday, June 30, the "Munch" singer played two tracks from her forthcoming debut album Y2K.
Taking the stage in a sexy, white lacy-sleeved two piece outfit complete with furry white boots — and , of course, her signature red curls — the rapper started off her performance with her newest song from the upcoming album, "Phat Butt."
Accompanied by several male and female backup dancers — wearing either purple letterman jackets or black leather jackets with cropped bikini tops underneath — the musician set her performance against a set made to look like a city, complete with a graffiti'd garage door, her dancers pulling out some moves from on top of motorcycles, and an entire prop gas station.
Finishing off her performance, Ice Spice transitioned into her highly memed, silly track "Think You the S--- (Fart)." The rapper closed out her set with a sexy synchronized dance number to the that ended with two of her backup dancers holding out working lighters — and "blowing up" the gas station behind her in an explosion of lights and fire on the screen behind her.

Ice Spice is also nominated for three awards at the ceremony this year, following her debut at the BET Awards in 2023. She could take home the awards for best female hip hop artist, best collaboration and video of the year for "Barbie World" with Nicki Minaj and Aqua.
The Grammy-nominated Bronx native announced the release of her first LP in early June on social media.
"HIIIII >.< ,” she wrote to fans, “Y2K ☆ THE ALBUM WILL BE DROPPING JULY 26TH !!!!”
Ice Spice hinted at Y2K back in November when she shared snaps of herself on Instagram flaunting a lower back tattoo.
“Y2K! ?/?/24,” she captioned the post.
Ice Spice also shared album’s cover artwork, confirming it was shot by legendary photographer and “the goat” David LaChapelle.

In addition to the album announcement, Ice Spice also revealed that she would be embarking on a world tour that kicks off Thursday, July 4 in Roskilde, Denmark.
The tour will be the rapper's first global outing, and she'll be joined by her longtime producer RIOTUSA and fellow Bronx rapper/special guest Cash Cobain on North American dates.
Ice Spice will travel through Europe and the UK before stopping in U.S. cities like Washington, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami and New York City.
The 2024 BET Awards are airing live on June 30 at 8 p.m. ET/ PT live from the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles.
