Jax Taylor loves a good meal with good company.

The Valley star, 44, grabbed lunch with Paige Woolen at the Granville Cafe in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, May 25, amid his separation from Brittany Cartwright.

The outing between Taylor and the model lasted for three hours and took place after they spent time at the Oaks Bar in Sherman Oaks the day prior.

For the daytime gathering, Taylor wore a black T-shirt, a denim long-sleeve shirt and black jeans, which he accessorized with a black hat and white sneakers.

Woolen, meanwhile, paired a skintight black bodysuit with white sneakers.

Taylor's outing with Woolen took place amid his separation from Cartwright, 35, whom he wed in June 2019.

Cartwright announced the news of their split on an episode of their joint podcast, When Reality Hits, in February.

“Jax and I are taking time apart and I made the decision to move into another home to take some space for the sake of my mental health,” she said at the time.

Cartwright later told PEOPLE at the premiere of their latest Bravo show in March that she “really needed to step back from” the relationship.

"Once a woman hits her breaking point, it's like 'Done.' Something like clicked in my head, and I was like. 'I need to step away from this situation. This is not not healthy. This is not a good situation. My son deserves better. I deserve better,'" she said.

She also noted that the pair’s three-year-old son Cruz is the “most important thing” to them both as they navigate their time apart. "I feel a little bit of relief," Cartwright admitted. "I needed this space."
